Oh Baby, Baby.

Hey y'all!

 

Hope everyone's week is starting out well, and that no one has a case of the Mondays.

 

Oh, the Mondays...wish there was a vaccine for that.

 

Who knows?

Walgreens seems to have everything these days.

 

Anywho, have you guys heard of a little site called Pinterest?

 

Oh you have.. well, I pin all kinds of shiz on there.

 

ALL KINDS.

 

Sometimes I look at things I've pinned, and I wonder if I was drunk.

 

A couple of months ago, I kept seeing this pin for Maybelline's Baby Lips.

 

 

As well as the commercials for it too.

So I pinned it, cause it was pretty and I wanted to try it.

And also because I have really dry lips and I'm always looking for things to keep them soft.

I mean I love my husband and I wanna be ready to kiss him at all times.

Just not in the mornings, he's not allowed to come near me until 10 am and I've had my coffee.

 

 

Well, today when I was at the grocery store I picked up the Cherry Me tinted Baby Lips.

 

Very pretty and pink.

And I love the smell. Not too much cherry, just enough.

 

And then I put it on.

I know I look super excited there. My phone took forever to take the pic and by the time it did, I was more bored than smiling.

 

It's soft when you put it on, and the color is just enough tint.

It brightens up my lips without looking like I'm wearing color.

It's a natural looking tint.

However, it feels like an adult version of Smackers.

And I say adult version because the scent doesn't make me feel like I'm being smacked in the face with a bag of cherries.

I guess that's why they call them Smackers..hmm..longterm mystery solved.

 

Anyway, I'll keep it and use it from time to time, but for keeping my lips moisturized, I'll stick to my trusted Kiehls.
